The new shareholders join Mark Anderson, PE; Michael Conlee; Erik Miller, PE; and Sirish Samba, PE; in bringing diverse insight and a shared commitment to advancing Sambatek’s growth and client success.

Meet the New Shareholders
Brian Burchett: Brian joined Sambatek in 2022 through the acquisition of Commercial Site Design in Raleigh, North Carolina, expanding our geographic presence in the southeast. Brian is a seasoned professional with over 40 years of experience in civil engineering, land surveying, and permitting. His successful career in the commercial development industry reflects his steadfast commitment to delivering services that effectively address clients’ development needs.
Ben Lodin: Ben built his career leading roadway design and construction plans for MnDOT transportation projects. Over the past eight years at Sambatek, Ben has designed and managed various transportation projects while promoting a strong culture of mentorship and leading our growing Public Services team.
Dan Mattison: With over 16 years of experience in transportation-focused civil engineering, Dan joined Sambatek in 2019 as a Client Service Manager. Since then, Dan has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s presence in the transportation sector, fostering strong client relationships, and driving growth.
Jeff Ostrom: With 17 years of experience across public, private, and non-profit sectors, Jeff excels in client and stakeholder engagement, emphasizing communication and collaboration. As Director of Engineering at Sambatek, Jeff supports teams in finding solutions that ensure successful project delivery, leveraging his extensive industry knowledge.
Brian Soltz: Brian joined Sambatek in 2022, leading the successful integration of the Commercial Site Design merger with Sambatek. Brian serves as the North Carolina Market Leader. He brings a wealth of land and business development expertise, complemented by a strong background in urban planning. His leadership is focused on driving strategic growth and fostering strong regional solid client relationships.
