Minnetonka, Minn. – Sambatek is pleased to announce and welcome the addition of Ben Robeck, Professional Engineer (PE), as Roadway Group Lead for our Public Practice. Ben brings a wealth of knowledge in project management and highway design for a variety of transportation projects for the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), counties, and cities.
Ben joins Sambatek with over a decade of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota. Before joining Sambatek, he served as a senior project manager at SRF Consulting, which indicates his expertise in the field. One of his notable achievements was being the engineer of record for the City Engineers Association of Minnesota Project of the Year as a newly licensed PE.

In his new role, Ben will work in the public practice, focusing on growing Sambatek’s roadway group and helping expand transportation services with new and existing clients. He will provide our clients with direction and guidance regarding projects, tasks, processes, and operations throughout their projects.

Ben’s recent work includes certifying six Level One staff-approved layouts, which included 14 interchange designs. His final design experience encompasses the certification of eight plan sets, ranging from intersection work to freeway corridor reconstruction.
