Minnetonka, Minn. – Sambatek is excited to announce the addition of Heidi Condon as a Senior Project Engineer in our Water Resources Practice Group. Heidi joined the team on September 16, 2024, and will report to Brian Hauth in our Minnetonka office.
Heidi brings an impressive 26 years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology. Heidi is a licensed professional engineer in South Dakota and a certified floodplain manager. Before joining Sambatek, she served as a Municipal Engineer specializing in Water Resources at Stockwell Engineers, where she made significant contributions, including implementing advanced stormwater modeling platforms that enhanced project outcomes and client satisfaction.

In her new role at Sambatek, Heidi will focus on various transportation projects, applying her expertise to ensure high-quality design and execution. Her responsibilities will include overseeing hydraulic and hydrologic design processes, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing technical guidance on project specifications and regulatory compliance.
Heidi’s previous work experience encompasses many water resource management projects, including stormwater management, floodplain analysis, and water quality assessment. She has successfully developed innovative solutions to complex challenges throughout her career, employing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance project outcomes. For example, she has implemented advanced stormwater modeling platforms that optimize design efficiency and address regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship.
Her analytical skills and attention to detail have enabled her to navigate the intricacies of local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring that projects meet the highest quality and sustainability standards.
