At Sambatek, we believe that a strong community is the foundation for a brighter future. That’s why we were thrilled to roll up our sleeves and partner with Hearts & Hammers and The Opus Group to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors. On September 20th, our team joined forces to restore the home of a local community member, giving them the chance to continue living in a safe, well-maintained space.
A Day of Impact
Hearts & Hammers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing exterior home improvements for low-income homeowners, focusing on senior citizens, disabled individuals, and veterans. Many of these homeowners face challenges in maintaining their properties, and the risk of losing their beloved homes becomes a reality. By offering free exterior restorations, Hearts & Hammers ensures that these individuals can continue to live independently, with dignity, in the homes they’ve cherished for years.
On this impactful day, Sambatek’s team worked alongside Opus Group and McGough Construction, a Premium Hammer Sponsor, to refresh the home’s exterior. With paint generously provided by Sherwin-Williams, we gave the home a fresh new look while ensuring it remains structurally sound for years to come.
Why This Matters to Us
At Sambatek, community service isn’t just a one-time event—it’s a core value woven into everything we do. As a professional services firm specializing in engineering, surveying, planning, and environmental services, we work to enhance the lives of our colleagues, clients, and communities. Strengthening communities through partnerships like this aligns with our mission and drives us forward.
Our team members found immense joy in using their skills to create a tangible impact. Knowing that we’ve helped make someone’s home a little brighter and safer is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
A Shared Purpose
Collaborating with like-minded organizations such as Hearts & Hammers and Opus Group amplifies our ability to create positive change. We’re proud to be part of this effort and to work toward building stronger, more resilient communities.
Together, we are more than just builders, engineers, and planners—we are neighbors committed to giving back and creating spaces where everyone can thrive.
Thank you to all who contributed to making this day a success. Let’s continue building together for a stronger tomorrow!
