Tomorrow, the prestigious Shopping Center Tribute Award for Retail Real EstateSM (STARRSM) Awards will honor the best in retail and shopping center design. Sambatek is proud to be nominated in two categories: New Construction: Retail Single Tenant and Interior Design for the PetSuites Lakeville project.
Hosted by the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA), the event will take place at the Golden Valley Country Club on Tuesday, November 19th, starting at 3:30 PM.

This project represents a remarkable blend of thoughtful design, sustainability, and technical innovation. Highlights include:
Design Excellence: Bold green and purple accents create a playful, modern aesthetic that reflects the PetSuites brand.
Engineering Innovation: Sambatek, along with geotechnical and structural engineers, collaborated to establish grades for the 25-foot geo grid retaining wall, maximizing land use while ensuring stability. Proper grading and stormwater management systems were critical to direct water away from structures, reducing flood risks and protecting local ecosystems.
Community Integration: The facility complements its surroundings while meeting a growing need for high-quality pet care services.
